In 1962, Jack Fetterolf went to work for Steely & Smith. A short time later, Jack purchased the insurance agency from Mr. Smith. Jack, a life-long resident of Central Bucks County, operated Steely & Smith from 1963 to 2006 when he handed off leadership to his daughter, Robin Fetterolf-Dunckley.
With more than 40 years of continued leadership by the Fetterolf family, Steely and Smith is fully committed to the greater Doylestown and Central Bucks area. Jack Fetterolf is a member of the Midway Volunteer Fire Company, and Robin is also a member of Midway Fire Company Auxilliary and is active in the Order of the Eastern Star. She is also active with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, where she serves on the Burpee Emergency Service Awards to recognize local emergency services personnel.
Robin Fetterolf-Dunckley is president of Steely & Smith, a full-service, independent insurance agency serving Doylestown, Central Bucks County, Southeastern Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey. Robin is the second generation of Fetterolfs owning and operating Steely & Smith for more than 40 years.
Robin lives in Buckingham, Pennsylvania with her family. Robin graduated from Central Bucks East High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Bloomsburg University. Robin has also attained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
Having grown up with parents actively involved in Midway Volunteer Fire Company in Lahaska, Robin has been committed to public service for her entire life.
